We welcome Pastor Jim to the pulpit this coming Sunday as he teaches on one of the five "languages" or expressions of love that we've been studying (quality time). It's a "don't miss" service.
The world is in desperate need of God's love. As a church family, this is our primary calling...to love. As each of us are faithful to that calling- can you imagine the difference we can make in our community? The power of multiplication through the power of love!

Pastor Chris

This week's message is our annual missions conference service. Today we reflected on all that God has accomplished in the past and focused on what He'll do in the future, through missions at SWC.
This is a very important day in the overall mission of the SWC congregation. We so appreciate your willingness to get involved in being a source of prayer and support for reaching out to those who need to hear the Good News. The faith promises that our congregation make on this Sunday will have a great impact on what we are able to do this year in missions. Whether you give, pray, or go, know that the Lord is faithful to His Word and will see it spread!
Pastor Martin Magelin shared the message today.
Enjoying the journey with you,
Pastor Chris |

In advance of listening to this message, I'd like to ask you to ponder a question: "Is God is always speaking to us individually or are there times at which heaven's "doors" remain closed to us? Email me your thoughts if you wish (chris@scottsdaleworship.com).
Every Sunday together is a Sunday I cherish. As we begin our new year together, a renewed passion for worship and heightened sensitivity to what the Holy Spirit is speaking is so important at this time. God spoke to a young, learning-to-listen Samuel, "I am about to do a thing in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle" (I Sam. 3:11).
