I assume that this question concerning the infilling of the Holy Spirit as described in Acts 2:4. In Acts 1:8, Jesus says that after the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and be witnesses of Jesus. Acts 4:31, carries the same inference. Acts 2:4 and Acts 19:6 states that when they received the Holy Spirit they spake with tongues and prophesied. It certainly appears that when they received the gift of the Spirit that something took place that left them with no doubt that it had taken place. If you still have a urging from within to receive more from the Lord, worship and praise the giver of the gift and allow Him to fill that desire.
