Thanksgiving is here, and we have so much for which to say "thank you" to our Father God.  I'm also deeply thankful for you, SWC family.  You are a church made of wonderful people who bless your pastors and staff regularly with your love for each other and faithful service and worship to the Lord.  May you experience the Lord's blessings during this time of thanks.  I so appreciate Pastor Lenny's timely word last Sunday; may the truth we heard take root and flourish in our lives.  
 
Simply because we're part of God's great Family, we have reason to REJOICE, during this holiday season as well as eternally!  The arrival of our Saviour and Lord deserves much celebration as we focus on all that His arrival brought to humankind.  Instead of darkness, we walk in His glorious light.  Instead of death, extraordinary life is ours.  Instead of punishment, we can receive His extravagant love.  Because of these truths and many others, rejoicing can be our daily reality!  As we embark on our journey towards Christmas, let's rejoice, no matter where we find ourselves this holiday season.  Like Mary and Elizabeth, we can embrace an attitude of humble thankfulness to Him for the ways He's abundantly blessed us.
