A Better Life, 9/12/10, Pastor Chris Harper
Jennifer was standing next to me as I lifted the lid of the roaster and said, "Mmmm can you smell those flavors? Wow, I'm looking forward to this dinner." We had spent much of our afternoon working on a project meal (one our fun things to do together as a couple). We were cooking Beef Bourguignon! Even before we started eating, we knew it was going to be great. The patience, expense, and effort sure paid off in the end, and we had an amazing dinner . . . even the boys liked it.
There's something cooking, folks. We're at a place right now where God is clearly preparing His people for something amazing. This Sunday, I'm going to take some time and sit down with you and share some of things the Lord has been showing me. The timing of this is especially important, as our SWC weekend of prayer and fasting (Sept. 17-19) is just a week away. We'll also be joined by Pastor Honoch, our resident pastor and missions leader in Hyderabad, India. We'll be hearing first hand reports of our efforts among these wonderful people.
Mmmmm....I'm so looking forward to this...
