As I headed to the prayer room on Sunday, in final preparation for the service, I found a note that Jennifer had left for me.  In it she spoke words that affirmed who I was in her eyes.  While I was reading it, I found such inner strength and COURAGE. . . .Courage to go and do what I was called to do.  As I entered the prayer room, the impact of Jennifer's words reminded me of the even greater impact that God's Word has in our lives. 

Remember our scripture reading on Sunday, Joshua chapter 1?  It gives record of the words that God spoke directly to Joshua.  Words that made strength and courage possible, as he acted in faith, taking possession of God's promised land.  God is always faithful to equip us with everything we need to act in faith!  I can't emphasize it enough...read and listen to God's Word.  He is speaking words over you that will give you the inner strength and courage to have victory over the "enemies" in your life.

This Sunday, Pastor Lenny will be ministering the Word.  We will also  celebrate the testimony of several who have recently given their hearts to the Lord, as they are baptized in water.  I'm already anticipating our time together.
