Messages like the one Pastor Justin spoke this past Sunday can't help but challenge our words, our actions, and most of all, our motives. We're told in II Cor. 3:17 "...where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." There is no real freedom in faking our faith, nor in living a life that is inconsistent with our words. Actually, it's bondage!

It reminds me of that movie "Man with an Iron Mask" with Leonardo DiCaprio. It told the story of the cruel King Louis XIV of France, who placed his twin brother in a dungeon, and forced him to wear an iron mask all his life, to conceal his identity. The very thought of wearing such a thing makes me cringe.

Folks, when we turn to the Lord and open ourselves to the Spirit of the Lord, our lives become so different...EMBRACE IT. Besides, we look better when we're shining the light of Christ.

The final part of our series, The Unmasked, is this Sunday. We have two terrific testimonies that will be shared, and together we'll study what it is to worship God face to face (II Cor. 3:12-18).
